AWARD WINNING RIBS BLUFFTON SC
If you like to mix great food with live music, then Montana’s Restaurant and Grizzly Bar in Bluffton (town next to Hilton Head) is a great choice.
Montana’s recently won the People’s Choice award for the third year in a row at the Kiwanis Rib Burn Off competition. General Manager Chris Manley won't give all his secrets away, but hints that it’s “slow cooking and grilling” that makes a winner, and of course their patented barbeque sauce that is now available at Piggly Wiggly stores. Whether you choose the ketchup or mustard based variety – both make a tasty topping for your ribs. If you’re on the go – grab a pulled pork sandwich or barbeque chicken sandwich, jump in your “red neck” truck and git goin!
Daily happy hour is from 4-7pm for devotees of the Grizzly Bar, which is visually separate from the restaurant.
Montana’s attracts a lunch crowd from nearby offices, as well as families with kids and retirees from Sun City. There’s something for everyone. Monday through Friday, you can eat lunch for $8 including a choice of eight entrees, two sides, dessert, a drink and bread – not bad in this “times are tough” economy.
Join the crowd on Wednesday night to hear your neighbors sing their little hearts out to compete for a $500 prize at the “Bluffton’s Got Talent” competition.
